    • Passport valid at least 3 months beyond intended departure from Schengen, issued within the last 10 years, with blank pages
    • Recent passport photograph meeting Schengen photo standards
    • Travel medical insurance covering emergency medical care and repatriation for the whole Schengen stay
    • Proof of accommodation in Latvia (hotel booking, rental, or host invitation)
    • Proof of sufficient means of subsistence for the stay and return
    • Round-trip reservation or proof of onward travel
    • Purpose evidence: itinerary, tourist bookings, or private-visit invitation as applicable

    Can I work on a tourist visa?
    No. Paid work for a Latvian employer needs an employment residence route, not a tourist visa.
