    FAQ

    Who needs a Visitor's Visa?
Anyone whose nationality is not on the official exemption lists. Commonwealth, CARICOM, listed European, US and similar nationalities get up to 6 months, a second group up to 3 months, and bona fide tourists with a return ticket who satisfy the Immigration Officer can get up to 21 days without a visa.

What must I show at the border even if I am visa-exempt?
The official entry-requirements page lists a valid passport, a valid return ticket, sufficient funds for the intended stay, and a local address.

Does the visa let me work in Dominica?
No. The visa form asks whether you intend to work or study and by whom; paid local work requires a work permit with Labour approval, and study uses the student-visa route.
