• Completed and signed harmonized application form (minors: signed by parental authority/guardian)
• Valid travel document (3+ months beyond intended Schengen exit, 2+ blank pages, issued within 10 years)
• Recent 35x45 mm color photograph per Schengen standards
• Fingerprints unless exempt
• Accommodation evidence: host invitation if staying with a host, or hotel/accommodation document; for listed nationalities the IGI-approved invitation (Art. 38 of GEO 194/2002 national take-charge form)
• Travel itinerary: organized-trip booking confirmation or other envisaged-travel-plans document; for transit, destination entry permit and onward tickets
• Travel medical insurance covering the full stay (minimum EUR 30,000, valid across Member States)
• Means of subsistence and return possibility: bank statements, employment proof, property, family/professional ties, plus return or round ticket
• Fee-payment evidence; minors traveling alone also need parental-authority consent

How long can I stay?
Up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the Schengen area, counted from first entry — including time spent in Romania.

Can I work on this visa?
No. It covers tourism/short visits only; employment needs a work-based long-stay route.

Do I need an invitation?
Travelers staying with a host provide a host invitation; citizens of listed states need an IGI-approved invitation for tourism visas. Hotel bookings cover other cases.
