    FAQ

Does a tourist visa guarantee admission into Mauritius?
No. A visa only allows travel to a Mauritian port of entry. The Immigration Officer decides admission and length of stay after examination at entry.

How long can I stay on a tourist visa?
The Passport and Immigration Office states a tourist visa may allow up to six months in a calendar year on a case-by-case basis, subject to immigration requirements. The officer at entry decides the authorized stay.

Yes. Every person entering Mauritius must hold a valid return ticket, have adequate funds, show confirmed hotel booking or sponsorship, and complete the Mauritius All-in-One Travel Digital Form before arrival.
