• Entry Visa Application Form J, completed in full and signed (one form per applicant)
• One passport-size photograph
• Copies of the outer cover and biometric page of the passport (the visa is issued as a letter, so the actual passport is not required unless endorsement in the passport is wanted)
• Birth certificate; marriage certificate where applicable
• Cover letter to the Chief Immigration Officer with return address, phone, fax, and email, stating purpose of visit, proposed date of entry, and duration of stay
• Employment letter, or letter from school, college, or university
• For persons residing outside their country of birth: proof of status in the adoptive country (work permit, student visa, or residence permit)
• Banker's draft addressed to the Chief Immigration Officer for the visa fee
• Certified English translation for any document in another language

FAQ

Does the entry visa guarantee admission?
No. The Immigration Department states an entry visa is a pre-requisite to seek entry but permission to enter is granted only by the immigration officer at the port of entry.

How long does processing take?
The official guidance gives a three-week processing period and says updates are not given while an application is being processed.

Can I work remotely from Barbados on this visa?
Barbados offers the Welcome Stamp for location-independent remote work. Do not use a visitor entry visa for Barbados-based paid work.
