FAQ

How long is the tourist visa valid?
The entry permit is valid 30 days/one month from issuance and must be used within that window; the stay can last up to 90 days from entry, single entry only.

Can I get the visa on arrival instead of online?
Yes, if your nationality is eligible: the MOI portal, the Japan embassy, and the Canada embassy all confirm eligible nationals can obtain it on arrival at Kuwait International Airport, subject to passport, blacklist, ticket, and address-registration checks.

What if my nationality is not eligible?
You cannot use the eVisa/on-arrival channel. A sponsor in Kuwait (resident family, visiting company, or hotel) must apply for the entry permit at the Ministry of Interior and send you the copy for entry.
