    Who is exempt from this visa?
    ECOWAS member-state nationals listed on voyage.gouv.tg (including Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, and Sierra Leone) are visa-exempt but must still complete the online immigration and health formalities before presenting at Togo border posts.

    How far in advance should I apply?
    The portal states standard processing of up to 5 working days and requires filing at least 5 days before arrival; it recommends filing at least 6 working days before arrival. Late filings may face an Express surcharge.

    Can I work on a tourist visa?
    No. It covers visits and invited event participation only. Professional activity uses the professional visa, and long-term establishment uses an immigration visa plus a residence card.
