FAQ
Does a Singapore visa guarantee entry or a fixed stay?
No. It is pre-entry permission to travel to and seek entry. ICA officers at the checkpoint decide the Visit Pass and stay period, issued as an e-Pass.
Can I work or do business on a visit visa / Visit Pass?
No. Visitors on a Short-Term Visit Pass must not take employment or engage in business, profession or occupation without a valid MOM work pass.
When should I apply?
ICA advises applying within 30 days before arrival. Most applications are processed within 3 working days, excluding submission day; some take longer.
